WHY JOIN A VISTAGE GROUP?
The Problem:
Finding the Time and Discipline to
Work On Your Business Instead of In it
Chief executives can become so involved in the day-to-day aspects of running
their companies that they lose track of their primary role in the organization:
Chief Strategist and Visionary. The most valuable use of your time and talent is
focusing on the future of your business.
The Solution:
Peer Power
The
Overwhelming Advantage
If you could sit down with 16 other chief executives once a month and talk
about your most pressing business issues — would it be worth your time? If this
group took its combined years of experience and focused on your company, do you
think they could help you grow your bottom line?
The Vistage group provides the discipline to step back from your business with
other chief executives and plan, problem-solve and strategize for your company’s
future.
While every business is unique, the issues that face those “at the top” are
essentially the same. The
Vistage group brings together local chief executives,
business owners and company presidents to share and resolve the challenges
facing them in today’s fast-paced, ever-changing world of business.
Vistage members
meet once a month. At many of their meetings a world-class business expert
delivers a topical presentation during the morning, while the afternoon is spent
processing executive-level issues in a confidential, moderated forum.
As a Vistage
Group Chair, I facilitate these
forums. I also meet with each member monthly for a private one-to-one meeting.
This provides accountability and follow-up to their personal and business
objectives.
